A year when we will always remember the pandemic, the isolation, the lost income, the anxiety. We will always remember how humbled and patient we were through this year and the sacrifices we made. A year where we learnt that through isolation is where we find the biggest need for human connection.
A year that our children will always remember when the world stopped. When mom and dad stayed home with them, played with them, spent time with them. When there was no rush to go anywhere and home was safe.
A year of growth, humbleness and learning has just past us. May we remember all the lessons it has taught us.
Thank you, 2020.
The pandemic isn’t over yet, the tests and sacrifices are not over yet. I hope we’ve adapted as humans and are making those sacrifices easier
